Some of the joys of living in a townhome, are that you have some shared walls. Well with the nifty layout of our particular townhomes, it places one of our neighbors over our garage and laundry room. Well to make a long story short, one of their pipes burst in their wall, and they didn't know it until they came back from work at night. Being that we live downstairs, and the law of gravity exists, our house was flooded in every room that was connected to that wall: the kitchen, hall, laundry room, and garage.
This was the hall. Everywhere else there were just puddles of water, and warped baseboards and flooring.
They said they were done for now. But not before pulling out my fridge and stove (and disconnecting it), setting up some huge thing in the middle of my kitchen to zap the moisture out of the air, and shoving fans into any open nook.
Ummm- does anyone see anywhere left to walk in the kitchen?
