On the market

I need to hurry and get a February post in, before February is over, so in recent news our house went on the market a few days ago. I guess it's for real- we're really getting ready to move across the country in a few months!

Unfortunately for us the housing market is pretty bad down here for selling, compared to when we bought, and it's for sale for almost 1/3 of what we bought it for... but lucky for someone else!
More on some of the things we did this month in the next few days. Goodbye February, you flew by!

Winter

We had a nice December and January so far. Blair spent the whole month of Dec. up in UT doing an awesome rotation, but I had to wait for 2 weeks to join him due to school for the boys. Then we spent a fun Christmas up there with our families.

So backing up to before we went up there:

The boys made a nice gingerbread house. As soon as they could eat it every piece of candy disappeared in 5 minutes.
We visited the lights at the the chocolate factory and cactus garden twice. My good friend came the 1st time and it was nice and peaceful with the help of another adult with my kids.

The 2nd time I went with some other girlfriends that were also single mothers that night, and being that we each had 3 kids- it was CRAZY, and I was ready for a rest afterward. They look pretty mellow here, but really they were running all over and climbing on everything like maniacs!

Up in UT we had a great time with family. Here were all the Curtis cousins with Gram and Gramps.
Blair and the boys had a huge snowball fight with half of my family. They had stockpiles of tons of snowballs and had trenches and protective snow banks that they hid behind and got each other.
We visited the Davises who moved from Henderson to Salt Lake.
Xander and Will with their cousins that are their age.
We had a nice Christmas.

Grandma helping Claire open presents.

The boys took ski lessons this year.

Xander got really good, and Blair took him skiing a second time with him a different day.

Yep, he was going down the run that I usually go down.

Will going up.
Will going down. So cute!
Here was Xander at midnight on New Year's Eve. It was the 1st time we let him and Will stay up for it.
We had a fun time in UT!

Now that we're back, we are out of the snowy weather so we do parks and bikes and normal Vegas things again. We went to the Children's Museum a week or two ago with some friends. We have a season pass, so we go pretty frequently, but this time was cool because it was an evening preview before they opened a new exhibit, and they had food and a special party going on.

Guess who is getting older and even cuter? Claire can stay sitting up now, and started "scooting" last week. She can pivot and roll, and now go forward too. We might have to baby proof soon!
