Sticky situation

It was mighty quiet in the kitchen after Will went in today.

I went to investigate, and this is what I found:

Will had a birthday, so we went to the park a couple of times, sang and blew out candles a few times, ate cupcakes, and he rode his new bike.

He's officially 2 years old, and ready for some fun.  His new favorite pastime is to fish my wallet out of my purse, scatter the contents under the kitchen table, along with a few things from the cupboards and drawers that he can barely reach.  Every few days or so, I find the familiar pile under the table again.

7 day forecast

I just saw the 7 day forecast for here, and it's finally only going to be in the high and mid 90's all week.  It's about time that there's not any 100's in there!  It's rough having a whole summer full of 105's and 110's.  It makes it nearly impossible to be outside unless your swimming.  Luckily we weren't here for too much of the summer, but while we were, we tried to keep cool.

Well, you get the picture- they all involved water if outside.

We went to the free circus show at Circus Circus. 

That lady on the pole was swinging around by her hair, for part of the circus act.

Chuck E Cheese's was a great place to escape the heat.

Indoor bounce houses, were lots of fun.

We went to the Bass Pro Outlet, where there's lots to look at.  They have a bunch of taxidermist-stuffed animals, that have been posed to look like the real outdoors.

They have a nice big aquarium there, and you can't beat that it's all free!
