We were gone for 12 days for a trip to Mexico. We went to Puerto Vallarta with Blair's whole family (don't worry no swine flu), and then we stayed a few more days after they left. We made a lot of sandcastles, watched a lot of sunsets, went swimming daily, and mainly enjoyed some needed R & R.
The resort we stayed at with Blair's family was a lot of fun.
There was a even a little pool out on the balcony.
The kids enjoyed a kid's playground pool at the resort.
Xander loved a waterslide that they had there. On this particular day he went on it 9 times in a row.
We went to a Mexican fiesta one night.
ate some good food,
and watched the show.
We went with a few of our group on a boat to Yelapa island one day and walked around the village.
Here were grandma and grandpa with all of the grandkids on their last day there.
Blair with his siblings.
Our family.
The only other things worth mentioning were that Xander learned how to swim on his own, and come up for breaths while we were there (hurray!).
The boys learned the art of shuffleboard.
Blair and I went to a timeshare presentation so that we could get tickets to Dolphin Encounter for free. At Dolphin Encounter we got in the water with dolphins, and got to interact with them.
Will was a little hesitant at first, until he could feed the dolphin.
Xander loved the whole thing.
Then the dolphins put on a little show while we were still in the water.
